Suppliers play an important role in COFICAB's value chain. In order to make sure our Suppliers adhere to COFICAB's responsible and ethical business conduct philosophy, we developed a Supplier Code of Conduct in order to define the specific requirements that all COFICAB suppliers must comply with when dealing with COFICAB and its employees. Our Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the way we approach Labor and Human Rights, Occupational Health and Safety at Work, Environmental Sustainability, Business Integrity, Conflict Minerals, and global trade.

Suppliers are evaluated on fair quality compliance, on-time delivery, cost competitiveness, responsiveness, sustainability and compliance, and innovation contribution. To support our global operations, we source a variety of items.
Direct PurchasingDirect purchasing are raw materials used directly to produce our wires and cables. COFICAB sources a considerable amount of metals and insulation materials in addition to additives and other elements.
Indirect PurchasingIndirect purchasing includes all the technical purchasing except raw materials - capital goods, tooling, spare parts, transport, consumables, industrial services, training, and other goods and services.
We work with top-tier technology partners capable of providing the latest generation of cables and wires production machinery and equipment that are both high performing and environmentally friendly, in addition to sourcing the related tooling and spare parts, and other equipment. To further enhance our efficiency and safety, we continuously explore advanced handling solutions by integrating next-generation handling materials, robots and automated conveyor systems.
We collaborate with trusted providers to ensure efficient logistics and distribution services, secure IT and telecommunications solutions, as well as consulting and advisory services. At COFICAB, we also invest in top-tier training programs to sharpen both the technical and soft skills of our collaborators.
