Your data protection rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives individuals in the European Union and European Economic Area specific rights over their personal data. Where COFICAB processes your personal data as part of our EU operations (for example, our Portugal and Romania sites, EU-based customers, suppliers, or job applicants), this page explains those rights and how to exercise them. For a full description of what data we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how it's used.
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
Ask us to delete your personal data where there is no compelling reason for us to keep it.
Ask us to pause processing your data while a request or dispute is resolved.
Receive personal data you've provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, or to direct marketing at any time.
To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at communications@coficab.com or via our Contact Us page, describing the request and the data concerned. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request. We aim to respond within one month, as required by the GDPR; for complex requests, this may be extended by a further two months, in which case we'll let you know.
COFICAB does not use your personal data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that would produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU/EEA country of residence, in addition to contacting us directly.
As a global group headquartered in Tunisia with operations across multiple continents, COFICAB may transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on legal safeguards recognized under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data continues to be protected.
